Support HTML5 functionality for Sitemap/PDF generated from website upload

Joe Cerep 12 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Amelia Ross 7 hours ago 4

We were asked to submit this enhancement request per CS0023168. We would like to utilize website uploads but the Sitemap/PDF generated is unable to be viewed by users due to Microsoft Silverlight being required.  Silverlight is an obsolete technology that is no longer supported by Microsoft or most web browsers. You must use Internet Explorer to view annotation and tag markup in the classic viewers and Internet Explorer is no longer a supported browser for Aprimo.

Hi Joe, sorry for the delay.  I did discuss this with Eric and we would like clarification on how you used the sitemap so we introduce the right functionality.

Recently, we introduced the ability to confirm hyperlinks created by a pdf editor in the annotation viewer.  Unfortunately there was a conflict with password protected pdfs so we reverted the code but expect it to be back in Release 120.  Does this support any of your needs?

Also we have had a request for other functionality as documented in this Aprimo Voice item:  https://voice.aprimo.com/communities/42/topics/1278-add-live-web-link-as-a-supported-format

There is a lot of discussion; is anything of interest to you in that thread?  We know that we need to do more but want to be sure we add the right things.  Thanks for your input.

Joe, thanks for bearing with my ignorance, I inherited this feature which has a long history.  Rachel reached out to me and explained the situation and I will discuss it with Eric.

Joe, is this still an issue?  I can upload a website and view the pdf in the HTML5 Annotation viewer and click on the links to confirm that they are working correctly now.  What functionality is missing?  Thanks.
