Global Search should have link to Task List

  1. In Global search, when we see a project as a result. It should have a link to Project Task list (read only) as in Task inbox- > Information Bar - > Project Tasks List

2. In Global Search, when we see an Activity as a result, it should display all the projects under that activity With the link to the Read only Task Worksheet. For Example, say 41202 Activity have 3 projects under it then, Activity should appear as show below.

For your first ask about showing a link to the Task List in the results card panel, I would rather not add another UI element for the a link to the Task List.  Instead I see two options.

1) Simply change the default page you go to when you click the Project ID field to go to the Task List page instead of the Project Details page.  I am guessing this is more often the page the user wants but I am curious to hear others feedback.

2) When you click the Project ID field to have a popup menu that let's the user pick the Project page they want to view similar to the "Actions" choices in the grids.  So you have a choice to jump to Details, Task List, Task Worksheet and maybe some other pages.  This would allow us to manage permissions.  If a user has rights to view the Task Worksheet then the option is available and if not then it is disabled or hidden.  We could do a similar approach on the Activity ID as well and let you jump to specific pages in it.

I like the idea of listing the projects inside an Activity in the "details" area but we could use the same menu approach as above here so just show the Project ID and Title as a hyperlink with a menu to pick the page.

Curious to get other views on this.

I also like the menu approach - this would surely save some clicks.

I like the menu approach (second one) for both Task list in Projects and Project list Activity.
