API Availability for integration to other systems

Adam Asar 8 months ago in Digital Asset Management updated by Tarun Chawla 8 months ago 5

DAM is part of a larger information ecosystem, so it must have APIs available to connect to other systems, both to import and export data and also to import and export files as needed. The presence of APIs should not be considered customization in the sense that in means our company no longer has support of the software vendor for maintenance and upgrades.

I asked this question to Trista.

Aprimo Connect also contains a low code no code environment to facilitate integrations with other systems.

Let say I want to show list of Activities in Citi Internal website. Then what I have to do is.

  1. Create an internal service that calls Aprimo Connect/Rest API.
  2. Call that Service in view page (Angular JS/ASP.NET page)

Is Petra saying, I can call Aprimo Connect/REST API from Angular JS/ASP.NET page. Means skip the first step, create a service.

Hey Karthik, you will still have to proxy the calls on your server side. We do not support calls directly from javascript from cross domain pages (CORS) due to security restrictions.

We provide REST API's which also allow for your integration scenarios. Aprimo Connect also contains a low code no code environment to facilitate integrations with other systems.
