"Create Attachments From" selection on legacy page defaults to the same choice the user made in the action menu (VSTS 148514)

Rockell B. (Aprimo Consultant) 1 year ago in Productivity Management updated by Eric Teitsma 4 weeks ago 8

Description: Situation: When uploading attachments and choosing "Internet File" or "Website" on and object's "new attachment" action menu or on the task attachment menu, the resulting page is defaulted to Uploaded Files and the user must reselect Internet File or Website. Please see below for details and the included attachment for screenshots.

Use Case #1: User is on an object attachment screen in the main application and wants to upload an Internet URL or a Website. User selects "Internet File" (or website) on the action menu for "New."

The user is then redirected to the legacy Upload page. The option selected by default is Uploaded File and the user must again select the desired option on this page.

Desired behavior: "Create Attachments From" selection defaults to the same choice the user made in the action menu

Use Case #2: User is in the Task Inbox and wants to upload an Internet URL or a Website to a task. User selects "Internet File" (or websites) on the action menu for "Attach."

The user is then redirected to the legacy Upload page. The option selected by default is Uploaded File and the user must again select the desired option on this page.

Desired behavior: "Create Attachments From" selection defaults to the same choice the user made in the action menu

Task Inbox: One or More Panels Failed Validation message

Christine Mellick 2 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Alex Gregorio 3 weeks ago 9

The wording of this message doesn't make sense to the users.  Can you change it to something more like:  "You have one of more required fields that need to be completed to close the task"

If there is additional room in the message, include "Scroll down to sections indicated in red"

Task Inbox - Days Until Due - should follow the work schedule when counting

Liz Guzman 5 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Diane Kifer 5 months ago 4

In the Task Inbox, on the top of the Info Panel, the 'Days Until Due' count shows the amount of Calendar Days until the task is due. Ideally, it should count the days corresponding to the associated Work Schedule.

So, when a task is given a 5 business day duration, the 'Days Until Due' should read 5 days and not 7 days.

Thanks.

Role Assignment Limit by User Group

Mike Lewis 6 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Matt Chabot 1 month ago 6

We (Wells Fargo) are very excited to begin using the new feature that allows users to assign a project role in their task. Current state we have 2 options:

1.)  Limit By Role

  • Pros: Provide targeted list of users to select from
  • Con: Users can only be assigned to 1 Role

2.)  All Users

  • Pros: Does not require any configuration
  • Cons: Users experience 5-8 second response times when searching for users, higher risk of choosing the wrong person

Enhancement Request: Allow Admins to configure Role Assignment by User Group. This will give us the flexibility we need to configure this feature and users will not experience the 5-8 second response time when trying to assign a user to a role.

Task Card column widths to save

Adam Henderson 8 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Rachel Phillips 2 weeks ago 6

We use a lot of columns on the task card, our users resize the columns so they can actually read the content without having to hover over each individual cell. This enables them to get a great summary of the work available to pick up, particularly in our studio. The problem is that when they then navigate to a task in the inbox and then return to the task card the columns have all resized. It's very frustrating to always have to be adjusting the columns like this. We basically need the old functionality of the task list on the home page in old nav, but on the task card. It feels like in terms of the task card we've gone backwards not forwards in functionality.

Resource Capacity

Shelly 9 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Eric Teitsma 3 weeks ago 1

Allow system parameter to change the color coding in Resource Capacity.  For example, we consider anything over 7 hours to be overbooked and should show a red on the Resource Capacity Screen.  The Aprimo criteria is over 14 hours before it's considered red.

New Navigation: option to access DAM (New UI) instead of asset studio

bart.theys 10 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Rachel Phillips 1 week ago 7

Hi,

The navigation menu in the new UI is pretty static (based on domain rights). A contributor has a single menu item "Aprimo DAM Assets", a full user has a submenu (Digital Asset Management) with two items "Launch Assets" and "Launch Central". Is it possible you make this more consistent?

  • Align item names ("Aprimo DAM assets" vs "Launch Assets")
  • Can you remove direct access to the old ADAM Central studio for full users? It is not needed and confusing. The central studio is a concept of the old ADAM paradigm, but now Marketing productivity replaces the "Central" role.
  • We want to engage our users to start using the new DAM UI. Unfortunately we cannot configure the url that is behind the  "Aprimo DAM Assets" navigation links.

Expand Columns to show full EA titles

Joe Cerep 10 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Eric Teitsma 7 months ago 3

Please see screenshot. It would be great to be able to easily expand all columns to show the full EA title. Currently you have to drag each individual column which is time consuming on lists with a lot of EAs included. I was thinking something similar to the expand feature in Excel where you can double click the line between specific columns to expand a single column or highlight all columns and double click to expand them all to the appropriate size.

Improve options for Assets download

Adrien Cohen 11 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Georges Janvier 3 months ago 10

Hello,

Today in Chanel WF and business processes, we are sharing of assets between several projects, and even attachments mixed with assets as input documents in some tasks.

Today in MP through tasks, users have a download feature (single file or all files) which is working only for attachments as input documents.

This has not been detected since the project started and we got now more than 30 workflows templates build with assets as input documents. (and those documents cannot be moved to attachments as there are final shared versions)

And anyway it’s not possible to use a single file download feature for numerous tasks because of the number of assets (30/50) and it’s became even more confusing when you got attachments and assets for users as there are documents which are downloadable and others that you cannot download. (the same way)

Scr01 : You got below two documents downloadable with a direct link and one non-downloadable.

Scr02 : When an user click on download, there’s only two documents out of three which can be very confusing for users.

Chanel needs the same feature for assets and attachments for downloading through tasks, ideally working the same way and even when you got assets and attachments as input documents for having a simple way to perform those frequent operations.

We need a unified interface for managing all downloads (here’s the attachments screen)

List view :

Download button (Single or All files) :

Thanks,

Revert Task Notifications to Display without Project Manager Name

Rob Tuffly 11 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Kristen Bernady 8 months ago 9

Newly released task notifications that display the Project Manager name if both the From and Reply-To fields confuses users. Task notifications appear as if they are sent from users. This conflicts our business process around Activity Notes, which we use to communicate issues, updates, etc. from within the system.

Workflow Templates: display the Expand Icon on all subpages when working in a workflow template

Trista Oliva 1 year ago in Productivity Management updated by Rockell B. (Aprimo Consultant) 7 months ago 13

This request is regarding workflow templates. In release 86, we added the display of the Expand Icon on all sub-menu navigation destinations in addition to the parent record. It would be valuable to workflow admins if this same functionality was added to the sub pages of a workflow template (the tabs for a step).

In current functionality, when you navigate to the configuration tabs of a step, make an edit and save, some of the pages stay on that tab (some return to the designer automatically). For tabs that do not automatically return to the designer, the user must then use the back button multiple times to get back to the designer screen or go to the workflow template list and re-open the template. To reduce clicks, if the Expand Icon was available on the tabs, the workflow admin could navigate much quicker.

Example: go to a workflow template designer. Click on the Input Ports for a step. Click edit, make a change, and save. Note that you are still on the Input Port tab. You must now make multiple clicks to return to the designer.

Below is a mockup of how this might look.

Allow users to respond to Chat Board post without needing Activity Edit

Alyssa T. 5 months ago in Productivity Management updated by carol mackin 2 weeks ago 9

Users with projected tasks are able to be tagged in Project Chat Board posts but unable to add a reply without having the Activity Edit domain right.

We would like the ability for users to reply to Posts in which they were tagged - while keeping them at only Activity View domain. We have the Agile Board FF enabled which gives users increased visibility into their projects. If we had to give those same users Activity Edit - we risk opening the door to allowing them to edit activity details.

Feedback: New Field Restyling - Optional Fields

Alex Gregorio 7 months ago in Productivity Management updated 2 months ago 5

With the switch to no longer labeling required fields with an asterisk and instead labeling non-required fields with "...-optional" is creating some confusion for users. Some of these fields are read-only fields -- this is a change that we are not looking to reconfigure and would prefer some flexibility around the labeling or required vs. non required rather than simply switching the configuration.

Task worksheet - task title

Tamara Hurioglu 9 months ago in Productivity Management updated by Eric Teitsma 3 weeks ago 1

With release 96, the task title width has been increased to 40 characters and any additional characters are wrapped increasing the row height. This is a great improvement from the previous behavior.

However, it would be nice to not cut a word in the middle.

For example, the task title ID 17926677 has the word "kickoff" cut and the last letter f is on the next line. It would have made more sense to have the task title wrapped but without cutting words.

Annotation Viewer - Ability to Format Text in Comments like Adobe (i.e. Bold, Italics, etc.)

Matt Chabot 11 months ago in Productivity Management updated 10 months ago 2

Currently users have no way to format text within the comments box.  This is something that Adobe allows you to do and has forced some of our compliance reviewer to work offline rather than use the annotation viewer.  Many of our compliance disclosures require that certain words or numbers be bolded or formated in a specific way which makes it difficult when a reviewer are trying to make multiple comments to one body of text.  We would like the annotation viewer to mirror the text formatting functionality that Adobe reader or Pro currently provides.
