In Marketing Studio On Demand, you set the workflow start type at the details page for the workflow when applied to the activity. This gave the ability for the workflow to adjust on it's own. For example, if the workflow was 10 days and there was 20 days to complete the work, if you set the workflow start type on the details page to Start no later than ( I believe) and key of the Project Anchor Date (or any date you choose) the workflow would front load the extra time (the first task would get the extra 10 days) and any extra time would continue to flow through the workflow until the extra time ran out.
Currently, you set this on each task of the workflow on the template level, but having the ability to do both (or set it either way) would give the admin more functionality and save some template creating on the back end.
The text resolution in HTML5 is very poor compared to the same file opened in Acrobat. This makes reading and annotating difficult for small text like footnotes, fine print, etc., even when zoomed in. It's worse on a laptop. The old viewer had a "High Resolution" zoom that fixed this issue, but the new viewer does not. Hopefully you can see the difference in the screen captures below showing HTML5 vs Acrobat. It's exactly the same file:
Some tasks only require a document upload, we have 100's like this. Wouldn't it be great if it worked like this;
1. You log into aprimo and see your task list on the home page
2. You notice you have some upload brief or first proof tasks and you can see all the extra info you need in the columns you've already selected that are appropriate to your role in this case designer or campaign manager.
3. Now instead of clicking into the task wouldn't it be great if you could drag your attachment to the last listed there in your task list or just click a link to take you straight to the attachments section.
4. Once you're in the attachments section then just drag your attachment to the attachment you want to add a version to.
5. Then return to the task list and close the task directly from the task list
We were asked to submit this enhancement request per CS0023168. We would like to utilize website uploads but the Sitemap/PDF generated is unable to be viewed by users due to Microsoft Silverlight being required. Silverlight is an obsolete technology that is no longer supported by Microsoft or most web browsers. You must use Internet Explorer to view annotation and tag markup in the classic viewers and Internet Explorer is no longer a supported browser for Aprimo.
Our project managers need to be able to modify workflow templates sometimes when they've been applied. Adding additional steps or removing steps, change in duration times. They need the ability to copy that task list to be able to reuse it in other Activities. The changes are enough to create a new workflow template.
There's the option for a choice of columns to be shown on the Activities tab under Programs, but Outlook is not a choice. It would be helpful to see related activities Outlook on one screen.
In Task settings, Status Actions/Send Notification, it can be useful to add some option enabling WF admin to indicate Assignee(s) and/or Project Manager among with the Notify Role options list.
I got some customer business case where task assignees wants to automatically receive the informations entered during task completion at the end of their work and today there's no way to do that. (except sending a notification to all users within the same role which is not relevant or build a custom report which is a non-automatic and a complex solution for doing such a simple thing.
The currency code base field should be a criteria selection at the commitment and/or invoice object when creating authorization rules. Customers using multiple currencies may have different approvers for different regions and/or currencies and the only way to do it now is add and attribute which is repetitive. Using the activity currency code is limiting since it may be in base currency (ex. US Dollars) and the commitment and invoice be in a different active currency.
Being able to sign a document within the project, without having to go offline would be useful. If we could add a Signature feature to the Annotations toolbar.
Need to set a default value of an EA in Activity Details Page.
Whenever any new activity is created, EA to be displayed with default value.
We should have an option to add default text while creating an EA.
Allow system admins the ability to alphabetize document upload choices by the instructions for the upload and not by the Document Type. The later is too limiting and can force uploads marked as required to be at the bottom of multiple uploads instead of the top.
The mass update feature on activities does not provide the ability to mass update a percentage type field. Many customers are starting to use percentages to track allocations, metrics, etc. Other 'number' data types (numeric, integers) are included in the activity mass update. Recently a customer added approximately 40 percentage attribute fields and had to manually update those fields for over 2,000 activities.
When configuring 2 attachment EA's one a parent and one a child, BOTH will show in the html5 uploader and are selectable even though the parent has not been selected.
PRE-REQUISITE:Make sure the feature flag for task-doc-attachment-file (new uploader modal) is enabled.
