Hi, we would like to request as enhacement a function or action that could delete attachments in a workflow step. Today we have new version attachments, used on iterative steps review, but sometimes in the step review there are new files to attached, so when a review user receive a 2nd review task, he always receive the new one and also has visible the rejected old files again. A Delete status action funtion could help in order to detect if the task review was rejected, to proceed to delete the file rejected in the iterative review steps. Thank you
It would be great if we could have a domain right that controlled the availability of the NEW SIMPLE TASK button. We don't want our users adding tasks we want them to follow the workflow we have defined as it maintained a regulated process.
Right now, you must rely on a user to remember to change the workflow title field because it is defaulted to the workflow template title. If we were to set it to empty, it would mandate that the user would have to change it before closing a task. In contrast, it the field could be stamped to a combination of other EAs, a user would never need to fill it out and would prevent the effort in needing to do so by the user. Then the users could search on this easily in the Task Inbox instead of needing to use the Task Card on the home page
Ability to remove the blue Download button seen on a working document section that appears as text above the document
A user rarely wants to download a document or multiple documents as a zip file, which is the only option for this button. Furthermore, if they try this option, it is often blocked by a firewall or security setting on a user computer. It is the most prominent method to download a document, whereas the ways to download a single version as its actual file extension type (ie a PDF and not a zip file) are more hidden behind at least an additional click
Ability to place an EA in the Work Request Category/Form Description text and/or extend field length
Just as can be done with Notification Template Subjects, it would be useful if we could embed EAs into Work Request Form/Category descriptions, specifically to use URL EAs to direct users to sharepoint sites for full information where reference materials are stored to be able to refer to guidelines before launching a workflow. If this cannot be done, we would like to have more space to describe the differences between the Categories and Forms within them. 250 characters with spaces is not nearly long enough
In the new UI, pop-up blockers must be disabled in order to access the Annotation Viewer. We put in a ticket (CS0024108) because this issue just started occurring recently but it was closed and noted as expected functionality.
Previously, the Aprimo URL also required pop-up blockers to be turned off but this was resolved per the note below so I'm hoping the same solution can be put in place for Annotation Viewer as it results in a lot of questions/complaints from our users.
On sandbox we recently got rolled out with new UI for few users and those users are experiencing SSO login failures to the portal URL even they are having all the access. But Aprimo URL SSO is working fine with new UI. SSO is working fine for both URL for users with old UI.
Attached below are the some useful information, can also provide any additional information needed.
It would be great if there were an option to exclude empty fields in a saved view. An example of where this would be a major benefit:
A key part of one of our processes is the availability of data for up to 10 channels. Requests can include any combination of Email, Direct Mail, Browser Notification, Digital, SMS ect. The saved public view we set up for this process has to include all 10 of the Expected Availability for _____ EAs, even though most of them are empty for a specific request. If we were able to exclude empty fields when the view is populated, it would only display relevant fields and would be a much more user-friendly experience.
Our team of designers have all the briefs come into all of the team and then they pick up the project for the rest of the workflow. We do this with a very complex workflow and the use of both Activity and project roles. It'd be much better if they could assign themselves as the designer and basically instruct the project roles that they are doing the rest of the designer tasks not the whole team. To take this a step further it'd be good if for your own role you could delegate that to another user, so a designer could not just delegate a task but update who was assigned to the designer role.
Users who triggered a multi-step workflow can currently not access its status (who did what when, who is in charge to do the next step bow) from anywhere easily (e.g. task inbox), as the request task vanishes when completing its parameters for submission.
What about offering a simple "my requests" overview for the workflows initiated by the user…?
We have encountered a situation that our people working on the ditribution workflows need to create some orders also in SAP. They need to attached also the original order. Until now this was done on emails and in paper and they attached those. Now this is done through work requests. Is there a way to get a printout of the work request? When somebody creates a new work request, he can print this, after pressing the button submit:
Is it possible, that we would have such an option also later on Approved work requests?
When reassignning task through the Reassign task link we have a problem, that we cannot add the value of the deadline from the activity. This is needed when managers need to see, if a task has to be reassigned or not. The activity deadline is the most important when deciding whether a task should be reassigned or can wait for the person to come back. We would like to add it here:
Here is where we have the deadline:
The current format of the task information includes a link to the task list - it would be more useful if this could be a link to the task worksheet so to that users can access and make changes to projected tasks if required.
This is a similar request to https://voice.aprimo.com/communities/42/topics/1500-include-an-indication-on-notifications-advising-the-user-what-role-they-are-in-that-resulted-in-the - We would like to have the Notification Template ID included on all email notifications issued. This will allow admins to easily determine what notification is being issued to users.
Include an indication on notifications advising the user what role they are in that resulted in the notification being sent to them.
We would like to see a field on notifications that calls out what role the notification was sent to. With many companies using complex workflows and also updating base terminology, it can be difficult to track down why a notification is being sent at times. Including a call-out of what role the notification was issued to would help users to understand why they received a notification and help admins to track down where in a workflow a notification is being issued.
