As a reporting and DAM user I would like to see how many times an asset has been "Viewed" so that I can easily see the popularity of a particular asset and report on "most viewed" assets.
An example would be: Instagram videos/other social media where the number of views is visible.
Page views is currently available in MO so BI wondered if this could be extended to DAM and available in Reporting.
I would like much more robust analytics on usage for the new UI. Charts/graphs/flexibility. (Much more akin to Google Analytics and the flexibility that interface has)
One example: I would like to know how many times a particular asset was viewed (not downloaded). This would provide valuable information for me about my user base as many of my users don't necessarily download assets, only view them.
Another: Time spent on the site. This will help me understand better how users are interacting with the site. If the content we provide is keeping the users engaged or they are clicking right off. If they are going for specific items and leaving, or sticking around to discover more.
When you create a chart, it would be great if you could adjust the font size of column labels. I think this would be done when creating the graph on the report, you'd just need to be able to select an appropriate size.
“Send email with download link…” results in a download job, so will appear in the downloads report, but the downloader in the report will be logged as the person that initiates the email. As an administrator I would also like the recipient to be included in the reporting.
We currently utilize operational reporting which can include links to attachments.
Use Case: Reports are utilized to facilitate reviews of high volumes of data, and reviewing critical attachments is part of the reviews by displaying a link to the attachment directly on the report. This was previously available in base product, then an update removed this capability. It was put back in place as a customization. It needs to be implemented in the product to avoid disruption of operational reviews. Our use case has an extremely high volume of tasks/reviews processed by centralized operational teams (thousands), therefore reporting is utilized to streamline the review process including links to the attachments (Ex. Invoice attachments, the actual invoice record). Removing the attachment links from the operational reporting increases the click stream for every single review and ultimately adds significant time to the review process; limiting the volume of work each individual resource can perform.
This has been discussed previously over the years, but I do want to emphasize the criticality of the functionality.
I was creating a report to show active users that have access to our user groups.
I am used to the 'Attributes' being called something different (this is unhelpful when creating reports) but all I wanted to select was what 'User Type'. This is an important field we fill in when creating users and should really be a named attribute when creating reports.
I managed to locate an attribute called 'Application User' which shows Yes or No for Full access or Not, so I used this to create my report but it's not very easily located and has a misleading name.
Please can you try and name your Attributes something that corresponds with the fields? and Rename this attribute 'User Type'.

Ability to access the DAM application log from the Aprimo reporting module.
It contains a lot of useful information that can be used in a report
For example :
- Create / Edit / delete records
- Create / Edit / delete savedviews.
- Create / Edit / delete baskets (=collection)
Requesting report that will compare customers page load time verses overall SaaS environment-display results to customers dashboard (VSTS 136714)
This was something Customer Service suggested to assist us with page load questions from users and logged on our behalf related to case CS0011740 and not visible to us in our Enhancements list in ServiceNow.
Allow export/distribution reports the option to include links to reporting objects - task, project, activity etc..
The ability to link directly from reports will provide users with a more useful, dynamic reporting experience.
The ability for the client to view their current storage totals for all of their environments.
This will help with better file management, usage reports, and transparency across the system.
If it possible to track, in detail, within our environments the following?
- Clicks/User Experience: we wish to analyze user behavior when they are interacting with Classification tree, Taxonomy & Aprimo functionalities like “Asset sharing send email” on the Aprimo platform. It would help us understand the most used options and also to decide any improvements which can help simply the user journey. For this purpose we need the “Clicks” data or the browsing activity data.
- Task in DAM, (volume of activities): we need a log of the activities assigned and performed by users for e.g. Librarian’s request to the uploader to update the metadata, or pending approval requests with Librarian etc. This will help us understand the volumes of activities and thus guide us to improve the process.
I know Aprimo tracks some activity in [System Insights - Page Views] - see attachment. Can this be expanded? If are you working on expanding to allow people to track activity and interaction in the UI
Allow to set up a report distribution combining multiple reports. We have sometimes 3 reports to distribute in a day, would like to combine the 3 reports in one email notifications instead of 3 emails.
Under Additional Resources>Annotations>Export, you're unable to pull the comments into the selected columns in order to export. The ability to export this information would be useful.
Our business requirements demands more complex workflows and more and more complex reports. we don't have db access. and we are not getting db back up also.
By these difficulties reports development and maintenance(adding more enhancements in existing reports) getting complex day by day.
we are creating more objects and object relationships to get desired output.
Just to see result of a simple query, we should go for long process.
So we want to see Edit option to Custom SQL object and also want to see a run button once sql object creating. This run button will fetch the current result for created sql.
Ability to add classification field on the classification report like we can do for the record.
Currently, we are able to change the dam settings .reportingSchemas by adding extras columns on the classification that will contain field data like this

In aprimo mo, we see well the extra column on the report object.
When we run the report the new columns are always empty.
It looks that the data of the classification field are not transferred to Aprimo MO!
