In the Segmentation Designer we would like to have the ability to increase the Font size of the segment title.
In the Segmentation Designer we would like to have the ability to increase the Font size of the segment title. If the segmentation is large it makes it hard to read the small print.
This pertains to a large segmentation that you have to scroll up, down, left and right to get to the various segments. It would be nice if when you are working in a segment that had to be scrolled to, that the view remains the same after closing that segment. More clearly, if I have to scroll over to the right to get to a split tool, once I have closed the tool, I would like the segmentation to remain where it was on the screen. Otherwise, I have to scroll back over to the right to continue working that leg.
Currently, if we change anything in the criteria tab of the value split tool, then the Split Value tab cell list is rebuilt and we lose all the cell, offer, and treatment assignments. This can become tedious when small changes like changing a value or adding a new value can cause massive rework.
Load an external email response file on a daily schedule picking up the new file and loading the members into a response log or another output table.
The ability to call out as needed within segmentation to external FTP sites for ad hoc data is currently in development. This ad hoc data feature enhancement supports adding external predictive score, exclusion, and seed files as well as the loading of response data from marketing execution channels (e.g. email opens, clicks, impressions, etc.) to load back into the customer's marketing database.
Create customer journey type functionality - sub schedules within segmentation to hold and release all members to continue processing further down the hierarchy on schedule or freeze all members and reprocess on schedule with the setting to process only unique members each time or all.
In the Segmentation Split tool we would like to insert a new cell easily in the middle of a set of 100 - 200 cells.
Currently, Adding a new cell in the cell definition tab can only happen at the bottom of the cell list. We create a few hundred cells and clicking the new cell up in that long of a list from the bottom is very tedious. We would like the ability to insert a new cell anywhere in the list.
In the Segmentation Split tool we would like to change the priority / sort order of the cells based on a cell attribute
We name our cell criteria in order to sort on the criteria name for priority ranking for cell assignments. Currently, we have to manually click to set the cell order. The ability to sort cells on a criteria, cell name, or cell code attributes.
In the segmentation split tool, allow the user to copy criteria in order to easily create another line of criteria
We often have to create 100 to 200 cells with unique criteria that has the same structure but different values. The ability to copy criteria to use to define a new cell would help us create more cells quickly.
It would be nice that users be able to disable certain branches or segments from the segmentation and they do not run when we hit “run”.
Note: Segmentations can be run for "counts only" without them generating output or running agents. Segments can also be run individually as well ( segment fly out menu > run segment ). Finally, segmentation schedules can be configured to run everything but Output and Agent segments.
We are considering a new Flow Control Segmentation tool that will check the previous Segment count, apply a rule, and will only run the subsequent Segmentation branch if true. The Flow Control tool could be configured to run its child branch only if the previous Segment count < -2 (some condition that could never be true).
For recipients that don't have marketingstudio.com as a safe sender, they may not trust a non-encrypted message as it appears with a security flag in the header. The recipient may think it is spam.
Our segmentation's contain a lot of criteria in the query tool and especially in the split tool. It is very difficult to impossible to accurately QA these segmentation's without opening each tool and criteria to see how it is actually configured. The criteria labels are not reliable.
"Process Date" in tool criteria builder comes in at GMT time and causes query problems, it should use our time zone.
When we run our nightly processing, the Process Date (@Today’s date) in the query criteria has drifted to the next day because Process Date is based on GMT time and not Arizona Time.
The <<process date>> variable used in segmentation criteria now uses the external marketing database's timestamp. This enhancement was released in Version 75 (June 2018).
Different account teams work in different Universes and agents are written for each Account Team Universe. The account teams should only be able to choose from and apply Agents for the current Universe to prevent processing errors and data issues.
Agent Templates can be configured to only be available while working with segmentations associated with a specific universe or with any universe. This enhancement was added in November 2018, release 81.
