Since ADAM 5.5 it is no longer possible to query the checksum of a file version. In implementations prior to ADAM 5.5, we would use the checksum to do a search for possible duplicates.
Reason why we need this, is because in large implementations users tend to upload files that are already in the system. These files don't always have the same file name or are classified in the same classification. It is very important to allow users to detect possible duplicates. Finding candidate duplicates used to be done by searching the entire system for fileversions with the same checksum.
The data seems to be stored in the Elastic search documents and it is available in SQL so we would like to request it would also be available via SearchExpression.
