RDS for SQL Server

Lately we get a lot of requests from our partners to be able to deploy ADAM that uses Amazon RDS kind of technology (http://aws.amazon.com/rds/sqlserver/).

Because for our implementation partners that takes away a lot of administration overhead, thus lowers project cost.

We would be interested in such a thing if you use Windows Azure. We run most of our ADAM implementations on a Windows Azure VM.

If you however wish to stick to non Microsoft technology, could you provide us with the code you use to setup your Amazon VM. That way we can tweek it to work on Windows Azure.

TUI are running ADAM in AWS and this would be a very useful addition.  Instead they've had to go and buy a full blown SQL license which isn't as automatically scalable as RDS.

Not sure if I should put the status on Done or Not Planned here.

We have support for SQL Azure as of ADAM 5.5. We currently have no plans to do the same for Amazon.
