Sliding date facet with date limits relative to the beginning or the end of the year

I have an expiry date, and I would like to configure a facet for that field that shows following values:

  • 2015 (= last year)
  • 2016
  • 2017
  • 2018
  • 2019
  • 2020

In ADAM 5.5 the date limits for sliding dates are always calculated on today, so I can filter on expiry dates +n or -n years starting from today.
But I really want to filter on expiry dates within a calendar year, so from the beginning until the end of the year.
For that, I would like to have a sliding date facet where I can configure that the date limits are relative to the beginning or the end of the year.

Suggestion: allow to use acronyms such as EOY (end of year) or BOY (beginning of year) in the date limits.
Although not needed for my case, EOM (end of month) or BOM (beginning of month) also would have added value.

This sounds to me like the typical use case for a date range picker component, with optional presets (current year, current month, ...) defined.

Other options should be explored as well of course.
