Classification list facet has 2 options for "Records to include": "Records linked to the selected classifications and/or their descendant classifications" and "Only records directly linked to the classifications". If the first option is selected and records are assigned to parent and child classifications (from this facet) at the same time, the counter for the facet is not equal to the number of filtered assets.
We have classification "/Asset Status/Published" which has several child classifications, for example, "/Asset Status/Published/Web", "/Asset Status/Published/Mobile". Records can be assigned to all these 3 classifications or to some of them.
We created Classification list facet with "Records to include" set to "Records linked to the selected classifications and/or their descendant classifications" for the "/Asset Status" classification. As result the counter for the facet is not equal to the number of filtered assets (please see screenshot attached). It will be more user-friendly if these numbers will be the same.
